Fun In Texas

I hope you all enjoyed the posts Anthony put up:) I am so bad about updating it and he is always saying that if we have a blog then we need to update it on a regular basis, so the good husband he is took it into his hands and helped me out. We had the fun opportunity to go down to Daniel and Joanne's in Austin on Sunday, it is just a few hours from us so we left early and spent the whole day with them and there cute little family. When we first got there we got a tour of the house by all the kids, little Rachel was so cute she didn't miss showing us a single closet we joked that she is going to be a great real estate agent when she grows up, then Anthony and I went for an adventure with Tristan and Oliver, they took us on a trail through a little forest and stream, and that is where we caught this craw fish that Oliver is holding (he was the only one that would pick the thing up). We then went to dinner to a great Mexican restaurant that was amazing! It was so much fun to spend time with Daniel and Joanne and for me to get to know them and their kids a little more. Thank you Daniel and Joanne for having us and making us feel so welcome, they are such a great family, Anthony and I look up to them so much and hope that we can be the great parents they are.

Update for our lives.

We are currently living in Dallas, Tx. It has been a fun experience thus far and we are enjoying our time here. I was originally going to come down here without Amber for about two months but two days before we left I started getting severe anxiety because I have now gotten to the point where I can't dress myself without her. I feel like a lost kid when she is not around. I am so happy we changed our minds because there is nothing better for me after a hard days work than to come home to my loving wife.(side note) She has perfected the art of the foot massage. Amberlie was born to be the perfect wife. I don't deserve all the things she constantly does for me. I am convinced that every decision of every day is centered around trying to make me happy. If I ever could do half of what she does for me I would feel like I had improved by leaps and bounds. The only way our kids ( hopefully soon) will turn out normal and me for that matter will be solely because of her). I am currently working for pinnacle still and am enjoying it. Amberlie got a job at a local school part-time and after one day the principal offered her full-time employment for obvious reasons. All of the kids in her class love her to death as well as the staff. When she came home and told me I was not suprised in the least.

Funny things about my wife Amberlie

This will be my first time posting on our blog but circumstances of last nights events made it so I could no longer resist. I thought I would give an interesting perspective of my lovely wife Amber. First I am happy to say it has been at least three days since she has accidentally hurt me, when I say hurt I actually mean cause extreme pain. When these episodes occur my response is usually, " Well at least I got it out of the way for the day". Anyone who knows her, obviously knows she would never hurt me intentionally or a fly for that matter. Just a few examples recently are: 1) Stepping on the middle of my foot with very sharp and pointy high heels 2) Trying to show me affection but sticking her finger in my eye 3) squeezing my broken hand 4) Accidently slamming my hand in the door. The list goes on but this is just to name a few. I have actually gotten to the point where I don't mind it at all because everytime these accidents occur I am reminded how lucky I am to have married such a special girl and the kindness shown to me after makes me secretly want her to make an (oops) again. The funniest thing about it is it's not because she is uncoordinated, I just have the worst luck and it seems like I walk right into the middle of it. The events last night that I am referring to just cracks me up. Every once in awhile Amby will wake up in the middle of a dream and not realize she is awake and say things that have me rolling on the floor laughing, last night was just plain cute and funny. I had been laying there for about twenty min. trying to fall asleep when all of the sudden up pops Amby still asleep with a big smile on her face and says," Sweety, thank you so much for buying me that fun book." I wasnt quite sure what she meant and quickly realized she didnt know what she said, but she was having a dream that I had bought her a book and she was reading it to her pre-school kids that she now teaches. I thought it was so cute because only a girl as awesome as her would be so happy and grateful for getting a book that would cause her little kids such happiness. From the look on her face you would have thought she was thanking me for a new car. The little things she does on a daily basis make me very grateful to be her husband and brings an element of entertainment I could find nowhere else.

Update

We are still living in St. Charles, MO while Anthony is still selling security systems and doing great. I started working in the office the middle of August, it has been great being able to work and feel like I am actually accomplishing something during the day:) All the girls have left me by myself so I don't have any card, or pool buddies, so working kind of keeps me occupied and not to lonely. Hopefully we will be able to leave by the end of next week, we are soo excited to get home and be with family and friends. We both had Birthdays within the last few weeks and it was fun to spend them together for the first time being married. For my b-day Anthony took me to this awesome mall in St. Louis and also the cheesecake factory which is always amazing, then my cute girl friends Bri, Muriel, and Kristeen threw me a little surprise party with the whole office. We also went to Six Flags, and that was super fun. For Anthony's b-day we went to a place called Dave & Buster's which is basically a huge arcade building and restaurant, then had cake and ice cream at our place with his friends. I have been trying to take pictures but my camera hasn't been working lately (looks like its time for a new one;), that is pretty much all that has been going on with us. See you all soon.

Memories with us

Here is a fun little game...Leave a comment on our blog of a memory that you have had with Anthony or I together. It doesn't matter if you've known us for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.On your mark...get set...blog your memories!

Kristeen and Amber's day of fun!

We rented bikes and went for a ride down the Katy Trail, it follows the Missouri River and goes for miles, we decided to head for St. Charles Main street and get some ice cream.
This is what most of the trail looked like. It is so thick of trees, it looks like a tropical forest.

This is the memorial park of Lewis and Clark, and that is a huge statue of them and their dog:)

We finally made it to the historic main street of St. Charles and got some ice cream. We didn't think this journey would be so far and after two hours we made it back home, today we are definitely feeling sore.

Night Out

Here is just a random picture of us when we were out to dinner. We try to go once a week with the whole office.

St. Louis Arch

The other day we headed to down town St. Louis, we weren't sure what to expect because of what we had heard about East St. Louis (it is the bad bad part of town). Once we got to down town it wasn't bad at all. We went to the gateway arch and went to the top, we didn't stay up there to long because of how sick it made us feel, but here are a few pictures of the Arch and Missouri River. Enjoy!

My Working Man:)

Anthony is doing great out here in St. Loius, he is selling hard and is liking it too, I think:) He is a great husband and is always making me happier each day, married life is the best. I Love you Anth!

Honeymoon/Road trip to St. Louis

For our honeymoon we took a little road trip on our way out to St. Louis, we stayed in Denver a couple nights which was a really fun city, then we headed to Omaha and stayed there one night. Omaha is where Anthony served his mission, he took me around to a lot of his areas, and showed me where he lived. It was really neat to see where he served and to hear his stories and see how many memories it brought back to him. We had a fun time, although we did get a flat tire in the middle of Nebraska and had no idea what we where going to do (its a long story), but it all ended up working out.

Crusin The Canyon

Last night Anthony and I went Longboarding, we love to go when the weather starts to warm up, and our favorite place to go is down the Provo River Trail. I don't have a longboard yet and we are working on getting me one, so I just went rollerblading and that is still fun for me, but I forgot how hard it was in the dark and I had a little accident, I had forgot about this gate that blocks the trail so when I saw it, it was too late I tried to spin around and dodge it but lost control and flew off the trail into the weeds and rocks, I was a little banged up and Anthony felt so bad, but it made for a good story and last run for the year.

Engagement Night

After a long, long wait Anthony and I finally got engaged on March 7. Anthony did a great job of planning the whole thing out, and he definitely had me tricked. We went to Outback Steakhouse and they had a special table in the corner all ready for us, we ate and were getting ready to leave when Anthony suggested we get their chocolate cake that is so so good, he knows me well and knows I would never pass up anything chocolate, when they brought out the cake it had the ring sitting on top of it, it took me a while to process the whole thing but when I figured it out I was so excited. That night was something I will never forget, somehow the whole restaurant knew what was happening and they all gathered around and cheered for us. Thanks babe for making it such a special memory!

New Bloggers!

I have been wanting to put together a blog for a while now but just never got around to it. Last night I was with Anthony's sisters Audra and Gretchen, Gretchen mentioned putting a blog up for Anthony and I, so we sat down and just did it. Thanks Gretchen for your help and getting me started. There has been a lot going on with Anthony and I, so I guess this is the new way and great way of keeping family and friends up to date, especially when we will be out in St. Louis for the summer.
